AgenciesNEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 2753.46 crore), RIL(Rs. 1753.24 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1636.88 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 1419.64 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1398.44 crore), Shriram Trans Fin(Rs. 1275.07 crore), HAL(Rs. 1232.86 crore), HDFC(Rs. 963.84 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 902.96 crore) and IndusInd Bank(Rs. 832.95 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 42.95 points up at 17754.4, while BSE Sensex rose 123.63 points to 60348.09.
In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 4.79 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.08 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.86 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.37 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.25 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
