Women entrepreneurs meet today

Thiruvananthapuram: In a move to encourage women entrepreneurs from the state, the department of industries and commerce is organising a women entrepreneurs meet focusing on the current entrepreneurial-friendly environment and policies offered by the state on Wednesday in Thiruvananthapuram.
The meet which coincides with International Women’s Day comes within the larger framework of various programmes planned as part of the ‘Year of Entrepreneurs’. Minister for women and child development Veena George will inaugurate the event at RDR Convention Center, Edapazhanji at 9.30 am. Industries minister P Rajeeve will felicitate the women entrepreneurs who have made immense contributions in their field.TNN
