Pension row: Inquiry starts against senior edu assistant

Ludhiana: An inquiry against a former senior assistant at the district education office has been initiated by the education department over a complaint filed by former deputy district education officer (DEO) Charanjit Singh in July last year.
The inquiry team formed under the principal of the Government School Bassian, Gurdeep Singh visited the DEO’s office to conduct a preliminary investigation. The complaint against senior assistant Durlabh Singh was filed by deputy DEO Charanjit Singh to the Directorate of School Education over charges of holding the pension cases of the employees and not delivering the duties in the right manner. tnn
