    Share price of SRF falls as Sensex drops 210.99 points

    Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
    Share price of SRF Ltd. dropped 0.07 per cent to Rs 2297.5 at 11:54AM (IST) in Wednesday's trade. The counter hit a high of Rs 2300.45 and low of Rs 2267.8 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 2299.15 in the previous session.

    The counter had a total traded volume of 11:54AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 0.86 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 30.9 and a price-to-book ratio of 9.3.

    A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

    The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    Promotor/FII Holding
    Promoters held 50.53 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while foreign investors and domestic institutional investors ownership stood at 18.31 per cent and 14.7 per cent, respectively.

    Key Financials
    The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3479.67 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, down 7.47 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 3760.52 crore and down 3.67 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3356.54 crore.

    Its profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 510.9 crore, up 1.06 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
