Foundation stones laid for two flyovers, two rail overbridges in Chennai

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu municipal administration minister K N Nehru on Wednesday laid foundation stones for flyovers on the South Usman Road (extension work) and the Arunachalam Road in Chintadripet. He also laid foundation stones for rail overbridges in Ganesapuram and on the Manali Road.
Sports minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hindu religious and charitable endowments minister P K Sekar Babu and health minister Ma Subramanian were present.
Nehru issued the work order for construction of toilets at 372 locations in Chennai. (in Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Royapuram and Teynampet). The project cost is Rs 430 crore, and the maintenance contract is for eight years.
