Sharon was aware that Greeshma had poisoned him: Chargesheet
Thiruvananthapuram: The chargesheet submitted before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-2, Neyyattinkara, in the Sharon murder case has stated that the victim was aware before death that he had been cheated and poisoned by his lover Greeshma.
The chargesheet also alleged that Greeshma, the prime accused in the case, had engaged in sexual talk with Sharon over phone for over an hour on October 13 night. The next day, Greeshma called Sharon multiple times and invited him home for having sexual intercourse. Greeshma did this to execute her plan to kill him as her earlier plans to murder him went futile.
Greeshma had promised Sharon of eloping with him in November 2022 as her marriage was fixed with an Army personnel in March 2023.
The chargesheet said that Greeshma also searched Google about the ‘paraquant’ content in ‘Kapiq’ herbicide, which was mixed in the ayurveda syrup served to Sharon, which led to his death.
The probe officers collected this as a crucial evidence to prove her role in the murder.
On October 14 morning, Greeshma boiled ‘Shadangapaneeyam’ powder by mixing it with the herbicide and later kept it under a bed in her room. When Sharon reached her home, Greeshma tried to delete her private pictures on his phone and tried to persuade him to withdraw from the relationship. When he refused, she tactically gave him the ayurveda medicine mixed with poison.
Soon after having it, he started vomiting and rushed out of the house and told his friend that he was cheated by her, said the chargesheet.
But in the dying declaration, Sharon had stated that he was sure that Greeshma would not try to kill him as she loved him intensely.
As per the chargesheet, Greeshma had tried to kill Sharon on August 22, 2022.
