Topeka police investigated a suspicious death early Monday afternoon after putting yellow crime scene tape up around an area that included this blue house at 232 S.W. Harrison.

Topeka police on Monday were investigating the suspicious death of a person found deceased that morning in the 200 block of S.W. Harrison.

The person was male, said police Lt. Donna Eubanks. His name and age weren't immediately available.

Police received information that led to the discovery of the person's body, Eubanks said. The cause and manner of death remained undetermined and was under investigation.

Police put up yellow crime scene tape Monday around the area involved, which is at the northeast corner of S.W. 3rd and Harrison.
