Fame Cristiano Ronaldo Hugs 10-years-old Syrian kid who lost father in Earthquake

Pakyong, 7 March : A heartwarming clip of Cristiano Ronaldo comforting a 10-year-old boy named Nabil Saeed has gone viral after an Al Nassr game in Saudi Arabia. Nabil, who hails from Syria, lost his father in the devastating earthquakes that struck Syria and Turkey last month, claiming the lives of more than 45,000 people, including former Chelsea and Newcastle footballer Christian Atsu.

Nabil expressed his desire to see Ronaldo play to a Saudi Arabian rescue team who had travelled to Syria to help in the aftermath of the tragedy. The clip was shared on social media, and eventually, Nabil was tracked down and invited to attend Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Batin at the Marsool Park Stadium in Saudi Arabia alongside his mother.

Nabil was visibly excited and overwhelmed to be making the trip, exclaiming, “I cannot believe I am in Saudi Arabia,” before meeting his idol. Ronaldo hugged the emotional youngster, who told him that he loved him, and the pair spent time chatting. Nabil even replicated Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration with his hero. The heartwarming moment has touched the hearts of many around the world.
