Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda trounced United Club of Seraulim 3-0 to enter into quarter final of the Afonso Aguiar memorial inter village football tournament organized by Cuncolim Union at Cuncolim ground, on Tuesday.

The Fatorda team took the lead early in the 6th minute when Maxwell Furtado beat a Seraulim defender and easily placed the ball into the net. Ten minutes later, Fatorda increased their lead through Mario Norona off a pass from midfielder Cliff Barreto.

In the 21st minute, Fatorda made it 3-0 through a goal from Sweton Rebello.

DBO Fatorda led the first half 3-0.

On resumption, DBO Fatorda missed many goal-scoring opportunities as Seraulim goalkeeper stood his ground
firmly.

DBO Fatorda’s Mario Noronha was awarded the man-of-the-match trophy at the hands of Lavita Rebello, ex-chairperson of Cuncolim Municipality.
