5 features on the Nintendo Switch 2 wish-list we anticipate

Pakyong, 7 March: The Nintendo Switch is currently the most well-liked hand-held gaming console, but to make it a compelling product, the business needs to provide a significant upgrade. These are five such innovations that might enhance the Nintendo Switch 2’s upcoming gaming experience.

The hardware on the PS5 or Xbox Series X is far more capable than the Nintendo Switch, despite its relative power. Again, because of its physical factor, the Switch 2 might not be able to deliver performance on par with the newest Sony or Microsoft gaming consoles. The upcoming Nintendo Switch model could feature potent graphics, though, given how much quicker mobile CPUs have become in recent years.

1080p video

Even the recently unveiled OLED version of the Nintendo Switch has a 720p resolution. Nintendo should give the Switch 2 at least a 1080p display, preferably with a higher refresh rate, such a 90Hz or even a 120Hz panel like contemporary smartphones, to further enhance the gaming experience. Glassless 3D capabilities have the potential to elevate the Switch 2 to the status of a true next-generation console. Again, Nintendo did this with the touchscreen on the 3DS, and we’d really want to see it continue with the upcoming Switch.

TVs that enable 4K
The maximum resolution that the Nintendo Switch can currently handle when connected to a monitor or television is 1080p. Since that 4K televisions are now widely available, the Switch 2 should be able to provide output at up to 4K resolution when connected to a TV or monitor. Likewise, depending on the resolution of the external display, the console should be capable of intelligently scaling between 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p resolutions.

Although the Nintendo Switch does offer memory extension via microSD cards, the manufacturer need to give the Switch 2 users the opportunity to add an SSD. SSDs have become more cheap over time and enable quicker read and write speeds.

Enhanced Joy-Cons
Nintendo is renowned for its inventiveness, and the corporation might give the Joy-Cons extra functionality to make them easier to use and to provide a more immersive gaming experience. A rumbling motor similar to the one on the PlayStation DualSense controller may be among the new features.
