Student injured in attack outside school

Ludhiana: A school student was attacked by a group of youngsters outside a private school in Janakpuri area on Monday afternoon. The schoolboy had come out of the institute when the accused attacked him. The accused also attacked his friends, who came for his rescue. Thereafter, both the groups pelted each other with stones before fleeing the spot.
A few days back, the group had teased student’s sister following which his family had complained to their parents. ASI Balaur Singh, in-charge, Janakpuri police post, said police have not received any formal complaint so far. tnn
