Man molests his stepdaughter in Rajkot, booked

RAJKOT: A man has been booked by Aji Dam police of Rajkot for allegedly molesting his 22-year-old stepdaughter and threatening to kill her. The police booked the stepfather under IPC Sections 354, 506 and 506 (2).
According to police, the woman in her complaint said that her stepfather made sexual advances towards her around midnight a month ago when she was sleeping in her room. He allegedly threatened to kill her if she told anybody about this.
She got scared and avoided lodging a complaint fearing it would bring bad name to the family. But when her stepfather wanted to take her younger sister with him somewhere outside with a mala fide intention, she decided to file the complaint.
In another incident, a woman living on the footpath with her husband near Balaji Hall has alleged that she was molested by a person named Vinod Damor. The complaint was lodged at Malaviya nagar police station.
