Shares of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. traded 0.29 per cent up at Rs 1507.15 at around 01:53PM (IST) on Monday. The stock had closed at Rs 1502.85 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 480.58 points higher at 60289.55 around the same time.


The scrip has climbed 4.79 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 8.68 per cent during the same period.

The stock's 52-week high price stood at Rs 1695.0 and the 52-week low price at Rs 1387.3.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 7,896 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 38.86, an EPS value of 38.77 and a price-to-book value of 27.81. In the Nifty50 pack, 39 stocks traded in the green, while 10 stocks were in the red.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 51.0 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while foreign institutional investors and mutual funds' ownership stood at 21.11 per cent and 1.77 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1301.68 crore, down 6.94 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 1398.76 crore and down 1.24 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1285.8 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 243.24 crore for the latest quarter.
