Last week's winner was St. Clair boys swimming & diving's Logan Biscarner, who won the MAC White championship in his heat with a score of 360.50 on Feb. 25.

Listed below are this week’s candidates in alphabetical order:
Sadie Dykstra — Yale girls basketball: Dykstra posted a 20-point, 13-rebound double-double in the Bulldogs' 45-40 victory over Caro in a Division 2 district final on March 4. She also had three blocks and two steals.
Braylon Frantz — St. Clair boys basketball: Frantz led all scorers with 27 points in the Saints' 53-52 win over Grosse Pointe North on March 2. He hit the game-winning 3-pointer with seven seconds left.
Grace Guibord — Sandusky girls basketball: Guibord finished with 17 points, four rebounds and three steals in the Wolves' 49-25 triumph over Memphis in a Division 3 district final on March 4.
Johnny Hand — Marine City boys basketball: Hand recorded a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double in the Mariners' 62-57 victory over Algonac on March 2.
Caleb Minard — Sandusky boys basketball: Minard scored 29 points in the Wolves' 67-49 win over Elkton-Pigeon-Bay-Port Lake on March 2. He made eight 3-pointers.
