InterGlobe shares down 0.29% as Nifty gains

NEW DELHI: Shares of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. traded 0.29 per cent down in Monday's trade at 01:48PM (IST). Around 5,328 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 1865.3 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1872.65 and Rs 1855.4, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 2194.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1513.3.

Total market cap of the InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. stood at Rs 71688.67 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 15410.2 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, up 19.9 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 12852.29 crore and up 62.55 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 9480.08 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 1422.6 crore, up 996.1 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Dec-2022, DIIs held 6.23 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 17.77 per cent and the promoters 71.92 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of -24.66 and a price-to-book ratio of -12.94. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
