GURGAON: A deputy manager of a private company was robbed on Thursday by a woman who met him on the roadside and forcibly sat in his car, cops said. During a conversation, she allegedly snatched his gold bracelet and fled.
According to the complainant, a resident of Patel Nagar and deputy manager with a private company in city, the crime happened in the evening when he was on his way home in his car with his friend. "I dropped my friend at Huda City Metro station, where a woman approached my car and offered her services. I refused, but she forcibly sat in the front seat of my car. When I finally dropped her off nearly 100m away, I found my gold bracelet worth Rs 1.25 lakh missing," he told police. An FIR was registered at the Sector 40 police station on Friday under sections 379 (theft), and 424 (dishonest ) of the IPC.
