Govt facilitating players’ preparation for Asian Games: Anurag Thakur

Speaking on the preparation of the Asian and Olympic Games, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister of India Anurag Thakur on March 06 said that Indian players will give their best performance and the government has made necessary arrangements in that direction. Talking to ANI, he said, “Efforts are being made so that players perform well in the Asian games and continuous meetings are being undertaken for Olympic Games over the role of the federation. Everyone believes that our players will give their best performance in Asian Games and the government has also made necessary arrangements in those directions.” Also, speaking about International Women’s Day, he said that along with sports, women have performed well in every other sector.
