In Liverpool's stunning 7-0 victory over Manchester United, Mohamed Salah scored two goals, one of which was his 129th for the club, making him the top scorer in Liverpool's history in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old Salah surpassed Steven Gerrard (120) and Michael Owen (118) in addition to overtaking Robbie Fowler's previous record of 128 goals to become Liverpool's all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 129 goals.

The first half of the match between Liverpool and Manchester United was well-contested, with Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes both failing to convert chances for United. Cody Gakpo broke the deadlock just two minutes before halftime, putting Liverpool ahead 1-0.

However, the second half was a completely different story, with Liverpool entirely dominating the game. Within the first few minutes of the second half, Liverpool scored two goals in quick succession courtesy of Gakpo and Darwin Nunez, taking their lead to 3-0. Finally, the Egyptian striker, Mohamed Salah, was able to score a goal for himself.

In this current Premier League season, the Egyptian forward Salah faced difficulty scoring goals, along with a general decline in performance for Jurgen Klopp's team. However, Salah managed to increase his total number of goals in the league to 11 by scoring two goals that secured the victory at Anfield. Salah achieved a personal record by scoring 10 goals for Liverpool against Manchester United in the league.

Salah is close to breaking the record for the highest number of left-footed goals in the Premier League, as he has already scored 102 goals with his left foot. However, his recent goals against Manchester United and Wolves were scored with his right foot, even though they still counted towards his overall goal tally.
