Wife's ex-lover, three more held for man's murder
Rajkot: The police in Rajkot city arrested four persons on Sunday for the alleged murder of a 24-year-old man who was stabbed to death on Friday. Police said that the deceased identified as Kishan Dodia was allegedly murdered by his wife Radhika's former lover and three of his aides. The accused were identified as Hiren Parmar, Kishan Thapa, Uday Bagda and Gautam Solanki. They have been charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.
According to the police, Hiren was in a relationship with Radhika before she got married to Kishan six years ago. Radhika went on to marry Kishan after she broke up with Hiren. She has a five-year-old son with Kishan. In her complaint to the police, the woman said that even after her marriage, Hiren used to harass her asking her to leave Kishan and go with him, which she kept refusing every time. About four months ago, Hiren and his aides allegedly ransacked Kishan's house too.
On Friday, when Kishan was having tea near the gate of Gokuldham society, Hiren and three other accused allegedly stabbed him several times. Kishan was admitted to the hospital, but he succumbed to injuries on Saturday, following which Radhika lodged a murder complaint against the four accused. Malaviyanagar police during the investigation found that all four accused had criminal pasts. They were accused in at least one or more cases. Even, the deceased Kishan had a criminal case pending against him.
