It is time for another leak that claims Apple will make changes to the volume rockers and Mute switch button on the iPhone 15 Pro. This is something we have been hearing for quite some time and now, Daniel of ZoneofTech has shared his own views about the possibility. He says he is "almost 100% sure" that the major change in buttons will take place this year.

The iPhone 15 Pro is said to come with a single unified volume rocker and ditch separate buttons for volume up and down. This new button will be capacitive and not physical as we have seen so far. The single button will increase or decrease the volume based on where the user is applying the pressure. Daniel says Apple opts for two pins on each volume button but in iPhone 15 Pro CAD renders, one can notice there are only two pins in total. This suggests there will actually be a single unified volume button.

This single button will be solid-state capacitive which means it will detect the pressure level to work. A user will not have to press it like a traditional button. The approach is similar to the Home button on older iPhone and iPad models. The second significant change is coming to the Mute switch button. It will also be replaced by a new capacitive button where users will need to apply pressure to switch to the silent mode. This will be the first time we will see Apple make a change to the mute button.

In other leaks, iPhone 15 Pro is expected to have thinner bezels than before and more curvature to the edges. This extra curvature will be there on both the metal frames and the glass. It will be the first time we will see an iPhone launch with a USB Type-C port as Apple is ready to bid farewell to the Lightning port. Apple is reported to bring Dynamic Island to non-Pro iPhone models as well.
