G20 delegates visit Patratu Lake Resort

Ramgarh: G20 delegates of science and technology on Friday visited the JTDC (Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation)-owned and operated Patratu Lake Resort amid a three-layered security ring.
Ramgarh deputy commissioner Madhavi Mishra said, “A 38-member contingent comprising G20 delegates, who are accompanied by senior officials of the state, arrived at the resort.”
The delegation was welcomed with traditional folk dance and music and given a motorboat ride on the lake to the island located in the middle of the water body.
A shilp gram village set up at the resort displayed arts and craft. Khadi Udyog Board also set up stalls.
“The delegates also tasted tradition delicacies. The visit will add to the resort’s popularity and draw more tourists here,”said an official, adding the team was impressed with natural beauty of the area.
