Mahindra responds to Scorpio-N waterfall controversy with another video
A viral video has been doing the rounds of the internet for the past few days, showing a Mahindra Scorpio-N owner taking his SUV under a waterfall which resulted in water leaking inside the car's cabin through the sunroof housing. Now, Mahindra has replied to the controversy by taking a white Scorpio-N under the same waterfall and proving that no water leaked inside.
The earlier viral video, posted by a YouTuber showed the owner of the Mahindra Scorpio-N enthusiastically taking his car under a waterfall on his way to Spiti. However, the excitement soon turned into misery for him as water started leaking from the roof-mounted speakers as well as the cabin light panel. The reason for the water leakage wasn't clear, with netizens having mixed reactions to the incident. While details aren't available yet, we believe this act might have resulted in the warranty getting void.

Nonetheless, Mahindra decided to take matters into their own hands and ended up repeating the same 'stunt'. "Just another day under the waterfall for the Scorpio-N," read the tagline of the video posted by the company on its Twitter. Mahindra also said that the video was created under professional guidance, and asked the viewers to not attempt to duplicate, re-create or perform the same.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is equipped with a single-pane electric sunroof on the higher variants. Other features on offer with the three-row SUV include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and connected-car tech, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a wireless phone charger, 6-way powered driver's seat, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Pricing for the Mahindra Scorpio-N currently starts from Rs 12.74 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 24.05 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the range-topping Z8L Diesel 4x4 AT variant.
