Forest fire: Dubare camp in Kodagu closed

MYSURU: The famous Dubare elephant camp in Kodagu district was closed to tourists on Saturday following a wildfire in the local forest.
According to authorities, a forest fire was noticed in the Dubare forest late on Friday. As this forest is attached to the elephant camp, as a precautionary measure, it was closed to visitors on Saturday. According to the authorities from the forest department, the fire is now under control. They said they will decide on reopening the camp on Sunday after a review.
