Boat club gets 3 speed boats

Kanpur: Three speed boats and one Jet Ski boat was added to the boat fleet of Kanpur Boat club on Saturday. One Banana boat and one motor boat will be included soon to meet the demand of boating lovers of the city. Secretary Administration, Boat club Atul Kumar and secretary water sports, Neeraj Srivastava on Saturday dedicated new boats to the boat club and water sports lovers enjoyed the speed thrill of new boats in river Ganga. With the inclusion of new boats as many as 6 boats are being used for guests and boating lovers.
Since the summer has commenced in the city, timing of operation of the boat club has also been enhanced and now it would be operative from 6 a.m. in the morning to 9 p.m. The divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar in a review meeting held on Friday fixed user charges for newly added motor boats, speed boats and jet ski bikes.
The Motor boats charges will be Rs 150/person/trip . The Speed Boat Charges would be Rs 200/ Person /trip . The Jet ski Bike Charges would be Rs 300/person/Trip. The boat club was inaugurated by the chief minister of UP on December 9,2022 and it was opened for the public from December 24,2022.
