Mathew Kuzhalnadan's remarks on Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan expunged

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaker A N Shamseer expunged the remarks, read out from the remand report by MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan mentioning chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, from the assembly records.
The portion that said that there is a mention about the CM in the remand report of M Sivasankar submitted by the enforcement directorate in the court, was removed from the assembly records. The portion where Kuzhalnadan said that the report contains the mention of gold smuggling accused Swapna Suresh meeting the CM at Cliff House has also been expunged.
On Tuesday, Kuzhalnadan used the remand report in the assembly while speaking on his notice seeking leave for adjournment motion, regarding the probe in the Life Mission case. The ruling front had taken exception over using the remand report in the assembly.
Law minister P Rajeeve had demanded that the speaker should remove it from the assembly records. tnn
