Pet Care Startup Sploot Bags Rs 5.2 Cr From Info Edge

Info Edge, which operates sites like as Naukri and 99Acres, has invested Rs 5.2 crore in pet care company Sploot through its wholly-owned subsidiary Redstart Labs (India).

Sploot has granted 1822 preference shares to Redstart, an existing investor in the company, as part of the transaction.

In May of last year, Redstart invested USD 500,000 in Sploot. Following the current investment, Redstart will hold 24.13 per cent of the pet care company.

Based in New Delhi Sploot provides pet care products and services linked to pet health, behaviour, and nutrition via content and app-based assistance. Its services include pet medical record administration, daily tasks, and access to pet care professionals.
