UP: Drones deployed to stop illegal liquor trade

Uttar Pradesh Police launched a campaign against illegal liquor in the Ganga Khadar area along the Uttarakhand border on March 03. Heavy police along with drones have been deployed in the area to stop the illegal trade of liquor between the two states. Police have also raided the people who were earlier accused of being involved in the cross-border transportation of liquor. “A campaign against illegal liquor was launched in the Ganga Khadar area along the Uttarakhand border with heavy police force using drone cameras. In the past, people involved in illegal liquor cases were also raided. It will continue further,” said Ramashish Yadav, CO, Muzaffarnagar.
