Brandon Rozier Jr., the 2-year-old boy taken from his great-aunt's house Thursday morning, has been located and reunited with his mother, according to North College Hill police.

Lucy Bullock, 22, who's accused of running off with Brandon, is still at large, the department said. A black 2009 Saturn SUV, which Bullock allegedly stole, was also recovered.

The Amber Alert

An Amber Alert was issued for Brandon Thursday afternoon. Police said he was last seen with Bullock on Sterling Avenue around 5 a.m. A neighbor's Ring camera recorded them leaving in the SUV.

Police said there was a delay in issuing the alert because they were unsure if Brandon was in danger, but later learned of Bullock's criminal record.

Where was Brandon when he was taken?

Brandon was staying with his great-aunt, Tawana Crawford. She said the child was sleeping, but she noticed he and Bullock were gone when she got up to go to the bathroom. The SUV belongs to Crawford.

Police said Bullock and Crawford are friends and Crawford was staying with them. It is unclear why. Court documents state Bullock's current address is on Eastlawn Drive in Roselawn.

Mother's plea

Arnisha Crumpley, Rozier Jr.’s mother, issued a statement to Enquirer media partner Fox19, pleading for her son to be returned safely.

“I just want our son; he’s only two years old,” Crumpley said. “I’m so heartbroken. Please bring him back.”

Bullock is on probation

Court documents show Bullock is on probation for a 2022 felony charge of receiving stolen property. Police said she stole a man's vehicle after spending the night at his house. Last month, she was sentenced to three years probation.

As a condition of her probation, she was ordered to continue services with Hamilton County Behavorial Services. A probation violation has been filed in that case.

A warrant has also been issued for Bullock on a charge of felony abduction.

Bullock has prior convictions for resisting arrest, spitting on a police officer, using false names with police officers and theft.

Bullock is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
