Bijnor cops save YouTuber trying to hang self after he uploads video on FB

BIJNOR: In a dramatic rescue, a 16-year-old YouTuber trying to kill himself by hanging was saved in the nick of time by Bijnor police after he uploaded a video on Facebook. In the purported video, the boy was seen making a rope knot and talking about killing himself.
As the video went viral, police immediately swung into action after UP police headquarters in Lucknow took cognisance of it and directed the local cops in Bijnor to take action. The local police extracted details of the boy from the Facebook office and reached his house in Afzalgarh of Bijnor district on Thursday night and saved the minor, who was on the brink of hanging himself to death "as his mother refused to stay with him".
It may be noted that his parents live separately. The boy stays with his father while his mother lives in a separate house. According to Afzalgarh SHO Manoj Kumar Singh, "The boy was counselled by police and then handed over to the family."
During interrogation, it came to the fore that the boy's mother was staying in a separate house and he was forcing her to come and live with him, said police.
Meanwhile, some people in the neighbourhood said the boy staged the "drama" to compel his mother to come back. Some, however, said the boy had asked his mother to give him some money, and when she refused he staged the "drama".
