Malabar Medical College PG Medico found dead

Kozhikode: In an unfortunate incident, a young doctor was found dead inside her friend's apartment on Wednesday. The cause of her death is unknown and will be determined after the post-mortem report.

The deceased has been identified as a 25-year-old post graduate student at Malabar Medical College, Koikkod. Thansia is a resident of Kaniyampatta in Wayanad. She was found dead in her friend’s flat in Palahi, Koikkod at 10 am on Wednesday.

The deceased had come to a flat on Tuesday. The flat belongs to a friend of the deceased who is also a doctor. The incident was discovered on Wednesday when her friend knocked on her room to wake her up in the morning. However, the door was locked from the inside.

After being unable to open the door, her friend contacted the police. When the police arrived, they broke the lock, opened the door and found her dead.

According to the police, the deceased was under treatment for epilepsy and got married recently.

Police have shifted the dead body to the Koikkod Medical College Mortuary. They said more information about the cause of death would be clear after further examination, Mathrubhumi reports

A case has been registered by the police and an investigation is underway.
