Congress leader Shafia Zubair calls herself and Meos the descendants of Lords Rama, Krishna

Speaking at the Rajasthan Assembly, Congress leader Shafia Zubair on March 01 called herself and the people of Mev, the descendants of Lords Rama and Krishna.Talking about the budget for the Mev in the state, she said, “I got a little history extracted from the Jaagas that what is our past? I found that Mevs are the descendants of Lords Rama and Krishna. Even if the religion has been converted, but the blood remains the same. We have the blood of Rama and Krishna only.” The MLA said, “Please do not call Meos a backward class. Consider Meos as Mewa. See where we have reached in 10 years. As of now, 3 MLAs have come to the Assembly, we will progress in future. I request to increase the budget to at least 100 crores from 25 crores. The current budget was entirely utilised for the betterment of education.”
