FIR against Uddhav loyalist Rajul Patel for using derogatory remarks against CM Eknath Shinde’s mother
KALYAN: Shiv Sena workers have filed an FIR against the former corporator Rajul Patel in Kalyan for using derogatory remarks against chief minister Eknath Shinde’s mother at a rally organised by the Uddhav group.
On Thursday, a Shiv Garjana rally was organised by Uddhav faction of Shiv Sena in Kalyan (West) during which Patel targeted CM Eknath Shinde and Union minister Narayan Rane.
Addressing the rally, Patel, who is a former corporator from Mumbai and Uddhav’s loyalist had used derogatory remarks against the chief minister’s mother. Patel also targeted Union minister Narayan Rane.
After Patel’s remarks went viral, angry Shiv Sena workers of the Shinde faction gathered outside Bazarpeth police station where they lodge an FIR against Patel and demanded her arrest.
Ravi Patil, Shiv Sena's Kalyan city president said, “If the opposition has any difference of opinion, they can say in a democratic manner but using derogatory remarks against CM’s mother is not acceptable and in future if she used any such remarks, our party workers will teach her lesson on spot”.
