Three people were injured after a fire broke out in four shops in a ground-plus-three-storey building at Santacruz in Mumbai. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
MUMBAI: Three people were injured after a fire broke out in four shops in a ground-plus-three-storey building at Santacruz in Mumbai.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
According to the civic body's disaster management department, the fire broke out in the shops located on SV road near Asha Parekh hospital in Santacruz.

Local BJP MLA Ashish Shelar tweeting about the incident said, "Fire reported at Scruz SV Rd Asha Parekh Hospital traffic signal, four shops burnt, three people injured, admitted to hospital. Police & authorities are at the site coordinating rescue/ relief. Our BJP local corporator @Hetalgalabjp & workers are assisting the affected".
