Future Consumer(up 6.25%), Varun Beverages(up 3.49%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 3.16%), Umang Dairies(up 2.83%), Parag Milk(up 2.42%), Jyothy Labs(up 2.08%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 1.78%), Vadilal Industries(up 1.62%), Zydus Wellness(up 1.21%) and Heritage Foods(up 0.80%) were among the top gainers.
Bajaj Consumer(down 1.65%), Britannia Industries(down 1.47%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 1.22%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 1.13%), Prataap Snacks(down 1.08%), Nakoda Group(down 0.92%), Dangee Dums(down 0.61%), Hindustan Foods(down 0.52%), Emami(down 0.43%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.41%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 126.85 points up at 17430.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 403.29 points at 59365.41 at around 11:16AM.
Adani Enterprises(up 14.14%), Hindalco Industries(up 3.04%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.0%), Axis Bank(up 2.07%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.98%), UPL Ltd(up 1.91%), State Bank of India(up 1.71%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.7%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.61%) and Tata Steel(up 1.49%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
