YAMUNANAGAR: The
Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HSLSA), Panchkula has launched a pilot project namely 'resolving conflicts for a better tomorrow' in Bilaspur sub-division of Yamunanagar district for a period of one month.
As many as 14 legal service clinics were set up on Wednesday in each Patwar circle of Bilaspur sub-division and were inaugurated by Shalini Singh Nagpal, district and sessions judge-cum-chairperson (DSJ), district legal services authority (DLSA), Yamunanagar.
DSJ Shalini Singh Nagpal urged the public in rural areas to visit these legal services clinics and resolve their disputes amicably through mediation and other ADR mechanisms such as lok adalats.
HSLSA said these legal aid clinics will be manned by panel advocate assisted by para-legal volunteers, Saksham Yuvas and others and the in-charge of these clinics shall reach out to the parties/litigants and provide them legal services.
HSLSA said after the completion of a one-month project at Bilaspur, this project shall be carried out across Haryana.
