Mumbai Angels on Wednesday invests Rs 3 crore in Jarsh Safety, a safety innovation company focused on smart safety wearables.
The pre-seed round of funding also saw the participation of individual angel investors and the Family Office of a leading helmet manufacturer. Jarsh Safety will utilise the funds to expand its sales and marketing outreach as well as its product portfolio.
Nandini Mansinghka, Co-Founder and CEO of Mumbai Angels, commenting on the investment, said “Employee safety assumes an absolutely critical role considering the exorbitant costs borne by businesses and individuals on account of work-related injuries and death every year."
“With this fund raise, we are investing in growing our team to expand from 1 product to 5 products and from 8 countries to 20 countries in the next 2 years,” added Kausthub Kaundinya, the co-founder and CEO of Jarsh Safety.
