agilon health acquires patient data PaaS firm mphrX

- Senior healthcare platform operator agilon health (NYSE:AGL) said Wednesday it acquired mphrX, a value-based patient data Platform-as-a-Service provider.
- The deal represents a $45M investment by agilon (AGL). Management does not expect mphrX will have a meaningful impact on agilon's (AGL) adj. EBITDA during 2023.
- The acquisition will accelerate performance and speed to value for new partners through agilon's (AGL) enterprise technology platform.
- Integration of mphrX's Minerva Healthcare Data Platform into agilon's (AGL) platform will enable faster onboarding of agilon partners and rapid integration of clinical data.
- agilon (AGL) also reported Q4 results and provided upbeat guidance, sending its stock 7% higher.
