Two fires at North Madison Street house in Rome investigated as arson: What to know
The Rome Police Department is investigating two reported instances of arson at a house on North Madison Street.
Police responded to 410 North Madison St. just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday for reports of a structure fire, which authorities determined had been intentionally set.
The occupied residence sustained minor damage to the outside of structure and there were no injuries, police said.

This is the second time a fire was intentionally set at this building. Police said the first was on Jan. 24. The damage in that fire was also limited to the exterior.
Both cases are being actively investigated.
