Cong MLA slams govt over Net ban

Jaipur: Congress MLA Harish Meena criticised his own government over frequent suspension of Net services in the state. While talking on the discussion on the demand for grants to home and jail, he said there is a war going on between Ukraine and Russia but there is no disruption of Net services there. But in Rajasthan, it is a regular feature, he said.
“War is raging on between Ukraine and Russia but no Net bandi. When there is an exam in Rajasthan, then Net bandi,” he said. When the minister interrupted, Meena retorted, “I know, you are a minister, from where... The election is coming in December. Rajasthan is No. 1 in Net ban, it is not right to defend the government on everything.” During the just concluded REET exam, Net services were suspended for three consecutive days giving a harrowing time for people and tourists alike. The government suspended Net services fearing paper leaks as recruitment are being stuck up due to regular leaks in the state.
