2023 NCAA Tournament Bracketology
Could the Kansas Jayhawks become the first repeat champions in men's college basketball since Florida in 2006 and 2007? That's among the questions to consider during the 2022-23 season as Division I's 360-plus teams are now marching to the 2023 NCAA tournament -- a journey that will end at Houston's NRG Stadium for the Final Four on April 1 and 3. ESPN will be there every step of the way with its 2023 bracket projections, evaluating the current state of the bubble and identifying the top seeds for the game's showcase event.
Bracket Watch
It really is a game of inches -- or, more accurately, seconds. Arizona State's Desmond Cambridge Jr. hits a 60-foot buzzer-beater to shock Arizona -- in Tucson, for the extra exclamation point -- and suddenly the Sun Devils are the last team in the projected field instead of outside the cut line. The margins are indeed that thin in late February and into March, when fortunes turn in less than a second. Which is why we watch, of course, and perhaps it's the perfect coda to this final bracket of February. Look for one last regular-season bracket on Friday then daily (or more!) throughout Championship Week.
