Ponda: Four days after he went missing, the 14-year-old boy from Ponda was found at Margao railway station on Monday. The Margao police handed him over to Ponda police, who then reunited him with his parents.
The boy had left his home on Friday for tuition, but did not return home. His parents had lodged a missing complaint at the Ponda police station. The boy being a teenager, the Ponda police had registered a case of kidnapping and a search was launched.
On Monday, the Margao police spotted him at Margao railway station. The boy told the police that he was on his pilgrimage tour to Ajmer Sharif dargah in Rajasthan and had returned on Monday. The boy was said to have left home by taking around Rs 6,500 from his father’s pocket.
