Three detained for betting in Barmer district

Jaisalmer: A gambling network was busted in Balotra area of Barmer district and police detained 3 accused betting on Pakistan Super League T 20 cricket match. Accounts of Rs 5 lakh and gambling items were also recovered.
Barmer SP Digant Anand said that Balotra SHO with his team succeeded in detaining 3 persons and recovered accounts of Rs 5 lakh an1d gambling items. He said that accused Lalaram Mali, Mukesh Sindhi and Mohammad Sharifwere betting on Peshawar Jalmi and Lahore Kalandars during the T20 match. in a house near Luni river
The police team raided the place and recovered 9 mobile phones, 2 remote, 1 LED TV, 1 Tata Sky set top box, 1 laptop, their chargers and diary with transactions of Rs 4,99,600.
case has been registered and investigation is underway. TNN
