Delhi Police arrests sacked BSF Jawan for siphoning off Rs 70 Lakhs from retirement funds

The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested sacked BSF Jawan Ghanshyam. He cheated 70 lakh rupees through 89 transactions by making a dent in the Permanent Retirement Account of 65 BSF jawans. During his service, he had fraudulently obtained access to the NPS portal. Through this, Ghanshaym had obtained permanent retirement account numbers of such retired BSF jawans who had not linked their mobile numbers and e-mails to their accounts.
