Love doesn’t come with an age limit. Whether you are in the first flush of youth or a silver-haired industry veteran, cupid can strike at any age!

Kushal Pal Singh, the chairman emeritus of real estate giant DLF, has found love again. In a candid interview with CNBC-TV18, the 91-year-old tycoon opened up about rediscovering love after his wife’s demise in 2018. He revealed that for a year or two after her demise, he was terribly lonely, but soon he was blessed with a second chance at love. Like any man in love, the magnate was euphoric about his current significant other and described her as charming and energetic.”

“Her name is Sheena. She’s one of the best persons in my life. She keeps me on my toes. And she has a wonderful set of friends all over the world,” he was quoted as saying in an interview with CNBC-TV 18.

The real-estate honcho also reminisced about his late wife, Indira, to whom he was married for 65 years. “She was not just a partner but also a friend. Our compatibility was good. We tried our best, but nothing could be done. "You find yourself in the position of a lonely man."

He also revealed that just months before her death, his wife had implored him not to give up on life and all it has to offer. “She said that this life will never come back. These words stayed with me,” he was quoted as saying to the business news channel.

He also admitted her demise left a toll on his mental health, and he took a break from managing the firm. "If you lose a partner of 65 years, you can't be the same. You're thinking differently. This is not allowed for the functions of a company. One needs to stay positive and active to run a company,” he said.

His wife passed away in 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

According to a Forbes report, Singh is said to have a net worth of $8.81 billion. He has one son, Rajiv Singh, and two daughters Renuka Talwar and Pia Singh.
