Sachin Tendulkar's life-sized statue to be erected at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium

Legendary India batter Sachin Tendulkar will soon have a life-sized statue after him at his home ground, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Tendulkar a living legend will turn 50 in April this year and 10 years after his retirement, the Master Blaster will have a statue at the same venue, where he played his last game against West Indies in November 2013. The officials at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) are hoping to unveil the statue on April 23, 2023 on the eve of Tendulkar's 50th.
