OnePlus has showcased a new OnePlus 11 Concept Phone at MWC 2023 in Barcelona. This is the newest concept phone from the company that has previously shown off concepts like OnePlus Concept One and OnePlus 8T Concept. The latest offering is meant to showcase the new Active CryoFlux cooling system.
Active CryoFlux is a closed-loop liquid cooling system that works similarly to how PC liquid cooling works. The major difference it has been adopted at the smartphone level. It has an industrial-grade piezoelectric ceramic micropump that circulates fluids through the pipelines and occupies just about 0.2cm² space. This is the reason the phone does not feel heavier or thicker despite the new tech.
OnePlus claims the new liquid cooling tech will offer up to 2.1 degrees Celcius temperature drop during gaming sessions. This is said to result in 3 to 4 more frames per second. The temperature drop is said to be around 1.6 degrees Celcius while charging which can result in a charging speed boost of 30 to 45 seconds.
It took over two years to develop the tech and on the way, OnePlus filed a total of new 30 patents. The back panel design is also flashy where you can see a Blue-like pipe design that illuminates. Since it is a concept smartphone, it will not be available for purchase for customers.
