BIG FM, celebrated the exceptional contribution of the Impact Businesses with the first edition of its distinctive Big Impact Awards in Mumbai. Known as the city of dreams, Mumbai has been home to several entrepreneurs and businesses, big and small, who have worked tirelessly to carve their own niche and leave a mark with their relentless efforts.
Felicitating their hard work, the radio network hosted the awards ceremony, which was sponsored by Tata Motors, on 24th February 2023. The gala event witnessed the presence of renowned personalities and dignitaries from across sectors who felicitated the winners with the BIG IMPACT trophy.
The radio network that has been at the forefront of initiating various purpose-driven offerings, curated the BIG IMPACT Awards to acknowledge the success and validate the Impact Makers’ efforts. It felicitated businesses across a broad spectrum of categories such as; Auto, Real Estate & Allied, Hospitality, Health & Wellness, Education, Fashion, Lifestyle & others.
The awards ceremony was graced by the presence of renowned actors from the Indian entertainment industry that included Malaika Arora, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Rupali Ganguly, Hina Khan and Aditi Malik among others. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Tourism of Maharashtra, also graced the occasion with his presence.
Sunil Kumaran, COO, BIG FM, speaking about the awards, said, “We, at BIG FM believe in recognising the efforts of trailblazers who have paved a remarkable path in their respective industries with their work. The evening saw the Indie folk band, Folk Masti, leave the audiences spellbound with their enthralling performance. Kickstarting the journey in Bengaluru, the BIG Impact Awards, has been setting its footprints across the country honouring the Impact Businesses in various cities.
It will also be hosted in Delhi and Kolkata amongst others in the coming months. The radio network in partnership with CCI India has been amplifying the news of the awards show across on-air, digital, and offline mediums.
