Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), India's largest player in the polyester value chain, has kept prices unchanged for three key chemicals used in the industry: purified terephthalic acid (PTA), monoethylene glycol (MEG), and MELT. Last week, the company decreased prices of PTA and MELT. However, MEG was kept unchanged. Reliance kept prices unchanged at ₹81.20 per kg for PTA, ₹57.10 per kg for MEG, and ₹89.25 per kg for MELT, according to industry sources. The pricing of polyester raw materials came into effect on Saturday.
