    InterGlobe shares drop 0.8% as Sensex falls

    India 10-year bond yield rose 0.05 per cent to 6.03 after trading in 6.02-6.04 range.
    Shares of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. traded 0.8 per cent down at Rs 1837.65 at 11:28AM (IST) on Monday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 316.6 points to 59147.33. The stock had closed at Rs 1852.55 in the previous session.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 2194.0 and Rs 1513.3, respectively.

    As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 11:28AM (IST) stood at 11:28AM shares with turnover at Rs 1.86 crore.

    At the prevailing price, the stock trades at -24.42 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs -75.41 per share and -12.94 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.88.

    Promoters held 71.92 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while FIIs owned 17.77 per cent and DIIs 8.24 per cent.
