Ludhiana: On the third day of Mach Auto Expo 2023 on Sunday, many prominent politicians and industrialists including AAP MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu, BJP Punjab general secretary Jiwan Gupta, Punjab State Cooperative Agriculture Development Bank chairman Suresh Goyal, BJP spokesperson Gurdeep Singh Gosha, Disha Committee member Bhola Jha, BJP leader Amarjit Singh Tikka and others thronged the expo here.
Speaking on the occasion, Jiwan Gupta said, “I congratulate the organisers, especially Upkar Singh Ahuja and G S Dhillon who are the guiding force behind organising this event here.”
He said he was impressed by the robotics section of the expo, adding it was “astonishing” to see that.
While interacting with industrialists, MLA Sidhu said, “Mach Auto expo is providing a wonderful opportunity to the manufacturers to learn and invest in innovation. Vision of the AAP government is to strengthen the industry of Punjab, and the government will support all ventures helping the industry to grow.”
Suresh Goyal said the expo acted as a catalyst for the growth of industry, especially for the MSME sector of the state.
While presiding over a meeting of prominent industrialists, Upkar Singh Ahuja, president of Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) said, “Indian manufacturers have to improve their competitiveness, and for this one has to invest in modular equipment and machinery. Here, the manufacturers are finding all the latest equipment and the expo is also helping exhibitors in generating business queries.”
